At Dalaborgs Preschool, we actively work with children's learning both outdoors and indoors. For us, safety, play, and learning form the foundation of our activities. Our preschool accommodates approximately 54 children ages 1–6 years, divided between two classrooms.
We work closely together and have engaged and competent staff members. We care for one another and strive to create a workplace where everyone feels comfortable, develops, and experiences a sense of belonging. The preschool has beautiful outdoor grounds that offer rich opportunities for play, exploration, and learning. We use our outdoor environments daily and spend as much time outside as weather permits. The outdoor grounds become a natural part of instruction where children have the opportunity to discover, investigate, and develop their understanding of nature through play and everyday experiences.
Responsibilities
As a childcare provider, we want you to challenge and inspire the children in both planned activities and in everyday routines and situations. We expect you to contribute to a positive work environment and build trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. You contribute to a positive work climate and have excellent collaboration skills. Your commitment to working with children is of course substantial, and you take responsibility and have the ability to create good relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. You will be involved in both work teams at the preschool in your assignment.
Qualifications
We are looking for a driven, professionally trained childcare provider with completed early childhood and recreation education. As a person, you should have excellent collaboration skills and be accommodating in your interactions with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are attentive, curious, and development-oriented. You take initiative, collaborate easily, and build good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You should focus on the children and believe in their abilities and competence. You understand and master Swedish in speech and writing. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
As a childcare provider, you are part of both work teams where you together are responsible for developing and operating the activities based on the preschool's curriculum. With a strong focus on creating safety and building relationships, you should in all respects work for the children's best interests.
Terms
Fixed-term employment until 2026-07-09, full-time 100%.
An extract from the criminal record must be presented before employment.
