Your assignment:
Assessment and Follow-up for Adults has the task of ensuring that adults with substance dependencies, social psychiatric issues, and criminal or socially destructive behavior receive the support they need to live in safe and good conditions. We offer a wide range of interventions based on trust and respect for people's knowledge, their own abilities, and willingness to take responsibility for their situation. The unit continuously identifies the target group's support needs and develops new interventions as needed. With us, competence and operational development are in focus, and our employees are our most important resource.
Assessment and Follow-up for Adults consists of a group manager, three group leaders, 21 social workers, and two senior social workers. The group is divided into different areas of focus: young adults, adults with substance dependencies and harmful use, social psychiatry, and social rental contracts with responsibility for eviction prevention work. Three experienced group leaders support employees in daily work and, together with staff, drive implemented decisions and development issues. We strive to work based on evidence. Within social psychiatry, we use the assessment tool IBIC. A prioritized area is a holistic perspective and coordination. We have a family-oriented work approach where we systematically coordinate around families that are or may become relevant for support measures within social services.
The role of social worker within social psychiatry includes, for example: Receiving applications and conducting qualified assessments as well as assessing the need for interventions according to the Social Services Act. Making decisions and following up interventions according to applicable legislation and delegation, as well as ongoing documentation. Creating good relationships and collaborating with both internal and external partners. Participating in development work within the unit.
Group Manager Åsa Faltin, together with group leaders, leads the work team with a focus on psychological safety and the shared task of ensuring that those we serve receive the support they need and that our working methods maintain high quality. We are at a stage where we have a major focus on development work. Group Manager Åsa sees that the most important puzzle pieces to achieve high quality are employees' opportunities to develop in their work as well as a good work environment. Your experience:
Degree in Social Work (Socionomexamen).
You communicate easily in speech and writing.
Good documentation skills.
Meritorious:
MI and IBIC.
Experience with authority duties for our target groups and comorbidity.
Knowledge of current legislation.
