About the Position We are now seeking an engaged and driven upper secondary school teacher for a short-term full-time parental leave substitution position teaching Swedish (levels 1, 2, and 3) and Social Studies 1a. In this role, you will plan, conduct, and evaluate instruction in accordance with curriculum guidelines. You will be part of a team where we work closely together around student achievement, well-being, and knowledge development. As a teacher with us, you have clear mentorship/responsibility for a class and actively work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. What We're Looking For We seek someone with strong pedagogical insight and the ability to motivate young people. You are organized in your work but also have a flexible approach to meet students' varying needs. Your main responsibilities: Teach Swedish levels 1–3 and Social Studies 1a. You will also serve as a mentor for a student group and work closely with colleagues in subject and work teams. This also includes ongoing contact with guardians and student support services as needed. Requirements for the Position: Pedagogical university education with qualifications to teach Swedish (upper secondary level/levels 1–3) and Social Studies. Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Experience with digital learning platforms and pedagogical tools. Meriting Qualifications: Teacher certification for the relevant subjects and grade levels. Previous experience teaching at upper secondary or adult education level.
