From the new year, we are expanding Aspgården with more apartments, bringing the total to 26 units. We are therefore looking for eight committed nursing assistants who want to be part of our continued development journey and contribute to creating a safe and meaningful daily life for our elderly residents. Aspgården is a small and cozy residential care home in Östra Ryd, Söderköping Municipality, surrounded by calm and beautiful countryside. There is a large garden where residents can enjoy fresh air and greenery – and perhaps hear cows lowing in the pasture right next door. It is an environment that provides space for both tranquility and community. We like to add a golden touch to everyday life and enjoy creating activities that spark joy and togetherness. This could be midsummer celebrations with dancing in the garden, pizza nights, readings, musical entertainment or simply a pleasant time together. Job Description With us you get varied and meaningful work where no two days are alike. You meet people, build relationships and have the opportunity every day to contribute to safety, quality of life and a valuable daily life for our elderly residents. In the role you combine practical work with social commitment. You provide support and assistance based on each resident's individual needs and circumstances – from personal care and social interaction to activities, meals and clothing care. The residents' needs, wishes and wellbeing are at the center of everything we do. You work based on fixed care contacts and care plans and become an important part of creating continuity and security for the residents. You work closely with colleagues and other professional categories, such as nurses and rehabilitation staff, to together provide safe and quality care. An important part of the work is to document carefully and professionally in accordance with applicable legislation in our Lifecare system. The position also includes performing health and medical care tasks on delegation. Working hours vary and we are looking for someone who can work day, evening and every other weekend. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and who wants to make a difference in our elderly residents' daily lives. You see the person behind every need and meet both residents and colleagues with warmth, respect and professionalism. You are responsive, flexible and responsible and enjoy collaborating and finding solutions together with others. You contribute to a good work environment and have a genuine commitment to creating safety and quality of life for our elderly residents. Experience in elderly care and/or dementia care is meriting, as is knowledge of Senior Alert and BPSD. Good computer skills are required. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as documentation is an important part of the work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Note: Aspgården is located in the countryside with limited bus connections, which means you need to be able to get to the workplace by car.
