Hammarby is located in the western districts of Västerås and includes an elderly care home/21 beds, group housing for people with dementia/7 beds, service apartments/31 units, and a meeting place. In your role as Operations Manager, you will independently drive, lead, and develop the operations. You report directly to the Regional Manager. You will be part of a competent management team where you receive support and guidance to succeed in your role. About the role As Operations Manager, you lead the work at the unit with responsibility for daily operations and business planning. You provide your team members with the best conditions to contribute to quality care. Main responsibilities Responsibility for daily operational activities, personnel, and scheduling Conduct systematic quality and operational development Ensure that agreements, assignments, and regulations are followed Maintain ongoing contact with customers, employees, and relatives Finance and budget related to operations Ensure occupancy based on budget and set targets Collaborate with support functions within the group Who are you? Your educational background must align with the formal requirements for being a license holder for the operations in accordance with the qualifications listed below. Additionally, you are a confident leader with previous experience working with the target group. As a leader, you are communicative, trustworthy, and customer-focused. To succeed in the role, you are results-oriented and thrive in work that demands flexibility and takes place in constant change. You apply a coaching, solution-focused approach and enjoy working toward set goals. Furthermore, you have an understanding of and knowledge in finance and can follow up on and analyze operational results. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Qualifications Requirements: University degree such as social worker, behavioral scientist, nurse, or other equivalent education, as required by the Swedish Inspectorate for Health and Social Care (IVO) to be a license holder Education in social law of at least 7.5 hp (if not educated as a social worker) At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position within healthcare and/or social care Experience with budgeting and financial analysis Very good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written Meritorious if you also have: Experience working in private care operations Experience leading operations in development and change Worked in a larger organization and/or company in strong growth What can we offer you?
