Some are completing primary/secondary school, while many others are taking specialized or vocational courses. Fellingsbro folkhögskola is a school with operations in Fellingsbro and Örebro. We're now seeking an engaged and development-oriented special education teacher who wants to help shape and develop our special education work. With us, you'll have a central role in the school's support efforts. You'll hold the team's work together, convene meetings, and contribute to structure, follow-up, and development. The role includes: . Working together with colleagues to identify, map, and analyze course participants' needs and conditions, and contributing special education perspectives in various forums . Working with colleagues to plan, initiate, and follow up on educational support measures and adaptations . Providing guidance and special education support to student assistants, teachers, and work teams . Working preventatively and promotively to create accessible learning environments . Working with colleagues to develop the school's routines, structures, and approaches to support Qualifications We're looking for someone who is trained as a special education teacher and has experience in special education work, preferably including supervision. You are confident, attentive, and well-organized, with the ability to see both individual needs and organizational possibilities. It is meritorious if you have: . Experience in special education work with young adults . Experience leading or coordinating support teams (equivalent to student wellness teams) . Knowledge of Swedish Sign Language . About the Organization Fellingsbro folkhögskola is part of the Regional Development Division. The operation is located in Fellingsbro and Örebro and consists of general courses, specialized courses, vocational training at secondary and post-secondary levels, and distance courses. The school's profile is directed toward people with disabilities and has a multilingual perspective where Swedish in spoken and written form, as well as Swedish Sign Language, form the foundation.
