Do you want to work in a role where quality, technology, and business meet – and where you get the opportunity to influence supplier relationships, develop processes, and contribute to long-term results? We are now looking for someone who wants to take a key role in supplier quality, with responsibility for ensuring and further developing the quality of strategically important suppliers in a complex and technically advanced operation.
Here you will work closely with both strategic procurement, the engineering organization, and external partners – and be part of where decisions are made.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As responsible for supplier quality, you will work both operatively and strategically to develop and secure quality within assigned product categories. The role involves close dialogue with suppliers and a clear mandate to drive improvements and make quality-related decisions with direct business impact.
You will, among other things:
Drive and develop supplier quality within areas such as mechanics, electronics, non-metallic components, and process-related areas
Handle deviations, conduct root cause analyses, and follow up on improvement measures
Conduct supplier audits and follow-ups
Ensure compliance with requirements, drawings, tolerances, and quality standards
Be an important partner to strategic procurement in supplier selection and quality decisions
Work in close collaboration where quality and procurement together drive the business forward
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO HAVE:
Engineering background or equivalent experience from an industrial environment
Experience with quality work and good understanding of manufacturing processes
Ability to work in a structured manner in a dynamic environment with many parallel activities
Strong communication skills and experience working closely with both internal and external stakeholders
We are looking for someone who is calm, clear, and trustworthy in your communication. You are demanding when needed, but at the same time diplomatic and solution-oriented. You thrive in a role where you get to drive issues forward, work closely with suppliers, and create results together with others.
Meritorious experience includes supplier quality (SQM/SQE), mechanics and drawing comprehension, electronics or chemistry-related processes, as well as audit work or procurement-related roles.
