Duties Are you looking for a varied role where you can collaborate and make a difference? We are now seeking a school psychologist for the Coordinated Student Health Service in Lekeberg Municipality to work with children of varying ages. This position is a collaboration between two municipalities. The distribution of the position is 75% in Lekeberg and 25% in Laxå Municipality. You will be placed in the Coordinated Student Health Service in Lekeberg Municipality where the various competencies of student health are included. Student health is central and works across all schools. You will, together with colleagues, work from a salutogenic approach and also participate in local student health (EH) at the schools. The Coordinated Student Health Service's goal is to create common procedures and equity regarding student health for our students in Lekeberg and to share our knowledge with one another. You will contribute to this work with your expertise. You will bring the psychological perspective to work that promotes good mental health. Furthermore, you will collaborate with school personnel and guardians to provide guidance on how to support students with special needs. You work from a health-promoting and preventive perspective on these matters. The assignment includes regularly participating in student health team (EHT) and student health meetings (EHM). You will conduct psychological assessments and investigate school placement as well as identify needs and development opportunities. Furthermore, you will conduct training sessions and workshops in areas that prevent and promote mental health. Qualifications We are looking for you if you: • are a licensed psychologist • have very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. This is because a large part of the work involves conversations and documentation • have good knowledge of relevant laws in the field such as the Education Act and confidentiality regulations • have a B-driver's license, can/are allowed to drive a car, and have access to your own car. We consider it meritorious if you have: • experience working with children in a school environment • training in behavior analysis • experience working with ICDP (responsive interaction) • experience with consultation/guidance/mentoring of students and employees • experience with health promotion and preventive work • experience conducting developmental assessments. We expect that you have a genuine interest in people and the ability to see development potential where you find solutions and opportunities in different situations. You work toward collegial learning and enjoy sharing your knowledge so that we can develop together. We require that you are responsible and can independently organize, structure, and plan your work. You are comfortable working in a team and in close collaboration with those you meet in your assignment. You have a good and empathetic approach and the ability to build trust with students, guardians, and colleagues. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
