The Nordic market is your primary focus, but you'll also collaborate with international colleagues and contribute to proposals on other markets as needed. Submit your application and become part of our growing team! Responsibilities As Technical Sales Manager, you'll play a central role in our commercial efforts. You'll work closely with customers, technical teams, the project organization, and international colleagues. Your main responsibilities include: coordinate and develop clear and competitive responses to RFIs, RFPs, and procurement processes, primarily in the Nordic region, coordinate technical and commercial documentation and ensure that proposals meet customer requirements and needs, support the PSI Group's sales organization in international proposals, plan and conduct presentations and system demonstrations, understand customers' operations and translate their challenges and future needs into relevant solution proposals, manage change requests by clarifying scope, coordinating cost and effort estimates, and developing and following up on quotations, collaborate with developers, system administrators, project managers, product experts, and other specialists, develop long-term customer relationships and monitor the Nordic market to identify new business opportunities. What We're Looking For We seek a business-minded, structured, and communicative team player who can work both independently and alongside technical experts. You don't need to know all the technical details from the start, but you should have a genuine interest in our systems and our customers' operations. We'd like to see that you have: post-secondary education in fields such as engineering, IT, systems science, business, or sales, or equivalent experience, experience in B2B sales, technical sales, presales, proposal management, or similar roles, experience with RFI and RFP processes and the ability to analyze requirements, coordinate internal expertise, and formulate clear responses, interest in and ability to understand complex software systems and explain them in a customer-focused way, strong presentation skills and confidence in discussions with both technical specialists and decision-makers, business acumen and the ability to balance customer benefit, feasibility, risk, and profitability, good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple parallel activities against deadlines, experience with or interest in working internationally, fluent Swedish and English (spoken and written). Norwegian, Danish, or German is a plus. As we work with critical infrastructure, a valid security clearance is required. Travel within the Nordic region and occasionally to other markets is part of the role. Preferred Qualifications It's a plus if you have experience with: public procurement or large international proposal processes, contract matters, requirements management, cost estimation, or change request processes, selling complex software solutions with long sales cycles, SCADA, ADMS, EMS, DMS, or other control and monitoring systems, energy supply, power grids, gas, district heating, public transportation, or railways. What We Offer With us, you'll get: a key role where you combine technology, business development, and customer collaboration in society-critical infrastructure, work with the Nordic market while contributing to the PSI Group's international business, good opportunities for professional and personal development in a growing team, work in a global company with strong local roots and close collaboration with international experts, a varied day-to-day where you follow the business from customer conversation through proposal, contract, and further development of delivered systems, a hybrid arrangement where you're expected to work at least three days per week from our centrally located office in Karlstad, competitive compensation and attractive benefits.
