WORK DUTIES
As a carpenter at AB Gavlegårdarna, you are responsible for maintenance and repairs in apartments, common areas, and on facades. You work closely with colleagues in your own department and other parts of the business, and collaborate with contractors when needed.
The role involves significant independent responsibility where structure, planning, and customer service skills are essential. You will be part of a work group consisting of several carpenters and report to a group manager.
Your main work duties are:
• Perform service and repair work in construction
• Work in apartments and common areas
• Plan, prioritize, and complete work orders
• Maintain ongoing contact with tenants
• Handle certain administration related to work orders
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with secondary education in construction or equivalent work experience. If you have previously worked as a service carpenter and have experience meeting with tenants, we consider that an asset.
Since you meet our tenants daily, you are an important part of their experience of the company. You work methodically and plan your work in a resource-efficient manner. You are self-motivated, solution-oriented, and take the initiative easily. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating and willingly share your knowledge with colleagues, just as you benefit from others' experience.
We use several digital tools in our work, which means you need to be comfortable using a phone as a work tool since fault reports are handled digitally.
A valid driver's license (B-körkort) is required.
