About the position
Are you an experienced tax specialist looking to take on a strategic and operationally engaged role in an international environment? We are now seeking a Senior Tax Compliance Expert who will play a key role in ensuring correct tax handling, regulatory compliance, and reporting. This role is perfect for you if you thrive on combining deep specialist knowledge within taxation with the development of processes, procedures, and approaches that contribute to the organization's long-term success.
Assignment duration: This is a full-time consulting engagement starting immediately and continuing through January 31, 2027.
Examples of work tasks:
Responsible for calculation of taxes and tax-related provisions.
Ensure correct tax filings and reporting.
Manage and follow up on tax-related accounting and documentation.
Prepare and maintain supporting documentation such as tax journals, depreciation schedules, and other documentation required for tax calculations.
Drive and develop processes, standards, and approaches within tax compliance.
Establish operational plans within your area of responsibility and ensure implementation.
Serve as expert support to operations and management on national and international tax matters.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes that strengthen the organization's performance and regulatory compliance.
About you
You are an analytical and solution-oriented person who thrives in a specialist role where you can combine strategic thinking with operational work. You work systematically, have a strong quality focus, and are motivated by finding effective solutions to complex issues. You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable collaborating with both colleagues and management teams as well as other stakeholders. You are proactive, independent, and driven to develop both processes and the business.
Qualifications:
Relevant university degree in economics, law, or equivalent field.
At least 10 years of experience working within taxation, tax compliance, or similar specialist areas.
Documented experience with national and international tax matters.
Very strong understanding of tax-related accounting and reporting.
Experience developing and implementing processes, standards, and approaches.
Very strong English skills, both spoken and written.
