The workshop functions as the company's hub and is a central part of operations where many processes come together. Based on daily planning from the customer service representative, you'll work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of vehicles and machinery. The work is varied and performed both in the workshop and out in the field. About the Role As a mechanic, you are responsible for service, maintenance, and repair of both the company's own and external customers' machinery and vehicles. You work under the guidance of a customer service representative and are expected to take ownership of your tasks. Your duties include: Service and repair of forestry equipment, tractors, trucks, and cars Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems Work both in the workshop and out in the field Administration including work order management and reporting Active participation in weekly meetings Collaboration with the customer service representative and other mechanics We're Looking for You if You Have secondary school education in a relevant field or equivalent experience Have worked as a mechanic for several years or are newly trained with the right drive and interest Have experience in service and repair of cars, trucks, or machinery Requirements: Good knowledge of Swedish and English Class B driver's license Bonus Qualifications (but not required) It's advantageous if you have experience or knowledge in any of the following areas: Experience working in Autocom Knowledge of Hydraulics / Vehicle Electronics / Welding Troubleshooting and diagnostics Operating forestry equipment Experience with or training in heavy vehicles Class E or CE driver's license We Believe You'll Succeed in This Role if You Are A responsible person who can adapt when circumstances change and who takes ownership of your tasks.
