Within the Social Services Department, we are seeking a unit manager for our municipal primary care unit. We are looking for someone who enjoys the complex task of being a unit manager and who can balance responsibility for operations, personnel, work environment and finances. In your role as unit manager, you will be responsible for operations and quality development within the health and medical care sector, but also participation in other care services in the municipality. As a unit manager with us, you work in accordance with current legislation and national governance for the transition to Close Care. You also work in accordance with Torsås Municipality's goals for operations and work in line with local guidelines. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES You work in a small municipality with short contact paths to employees, colleagues, management and politicians. As a unit manager, you collaborate both internally and externally, especially with the region and our health center. You lead occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses and nursing assistants and drive the development of municipal primary care together with MAS. You also contribute to care development in collaboration with other unit managers to improve services for our citizens. Your main responsibilities involve leading and developing municipal primary care in terms of quality, work environment and finances. We value present and developmental leadership where you are available for your employees and drive the development of operations. You work closely with MAS, actively participate in the care management group and report directly to the operations manager for care. We expect you to have the ability to reflect, think critically and drive the development of operations. You should keep up to date with societal development and be able to lead operations forward based on current needs and knowledge. Through close collaboration with fellow managers and MAS, you have the opportunity for idea exchange and learning in daily work. QUALIFICATIONS You have higher education within health and medical care with corresponding professional license. It is a merit if you have previous experience working as a manager in health and medical care and previous management experience. You drive your projects forward, communicate goals, are results-oriented and have a desire to develop operations. You have a clear employer perspective with focus on quality.
