Our Offer Unit B173 is a specialized ward where we primarily care for patients with kidney diseases and rheumatological conditions. In addition, we receive a high volume of patients from the emergency department with other medical issues. The opportunity to influence your schedule through individual shift planning in the digital scheduling tool Tessa. Benefits including wellness allowance, pension, and opportunities for professional development. Dedicated and experienced colleagues who value teamwork. A fantastic work team that supports each other where everyone is equally valued! To provide security and support for you as a new nurse, there's an experienced mentor nurse on site during weekdays. The mentor nurse can assist the care team when needed by helping with complex patient cases, answering questions that arise, and providing support during rounds for new staff. We're also a department that has progressed far in digital development and work with iPads (NOVA tablet) where we create digital checklists for daily tasks. The iPad also provides access to Cosmic for easier documentation, chart review, and medication administration. DOA - our day care unit is a facility where patients come for various infusions and outpatient procedures. This operation is located adjacent to the ward and helps reduce admissions. If you're interested, there may be opportunities to rotate to day care to add variety to your workday. We also explore and encourage rotation opportunities to our dialysis clinic at the University Hospital! As we operate 24/7, the position includes day, evening, and night shifts. If you're interested in working primarily night shifts, there is also an opportunity for that.
