JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a veterinarian with us, you will be part of our operations with daytime clinic hours and 24/7 readiness where the customer and animal health are at the center. With us, you will work with all animal species and we have a highly stimulating and varied work environment. Our goal is to create a workplace where everyone enjoys their work and thereby has the right conditions to do a good job.
Readiness is a natural part of the position and we work according to a model that ensures recovery and rest.
As a veterinarian within Distriktsveterinärerna, there is a unique opportunity to develop broad expertise across all animal species, while also having the opportunity to specialize in specific areas.
As a veterinarian with us in Fränsta, you will work both at our small animal clinic and also travel out into the field for horses and farm animals. Within all animal species, there are both planned/booked visits and emergency cases. You will receive thorough introductory training and always have close support from colleagues, management, and other specialists within the organization. Your nearest veterinary colleagues have extensive experience and are happy to share their knowledge, giving you excellent opportunities to develop and grow in the role.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a veterinarian with some years of experience with large and small animals and confident in your role and enjoy being well-rounded. Or perhaps you are newly graduated with great ambitions. You feel confident handling the most common emergency cases across all animal species and scheduled cases at a basic level. As a person, you are flexible and service-oriented toward our customers and your colleagues. You enjoy working together with others, but you can also be independent. Furthermore, you have good judgment and make decisions in line with Distriktsveterinärerna.
Through your focus on good customer relations, you retain existing customers while striving to attract new ones. To thrive with us, you need to be a team player who adapts to the group and has good communication skills. With a forward-thinking attitude, you strive for both your own development and the development of your colleagues and the clinic.
Swedish veterinary license and a class B driver's license are required.
