Preformance takes prototype and low-volume manufacturing of injection-molded plastic parts to a completely new level. Preformance services are increasingly in demand, and more customers need the expertise and breadth we possess within production methods and materials. This means we need to recruit an additional Tool Maker to join our already strong team!
Your main responsibilities will be:
Maintenance and assembly of aluminum tools for injection molding
Test runs, quality control, and fine-tuning of finished tools
Close contact and collaboration with project managers and other colleagues
Participate and take initiative in improvement work in the department
You have experience in technical work where you preferably have worked on, built, and maintained technical components, machines, or similar. You preferably have worked with a variety of machines and are not intimidated by either machine operation or bench work. You are thorough, solution-oriented, and set high standards for yourself and your surroundings. You are curious, have a strong technical interest, are practical, and work equally well and competently both independently and in a group. You thrive in a varied role with many tasks running in parallel, where planning and prioritization can change at short notice.
