To meet increased demands for digitalization and IT support, we are seeking a business development manager with a focus on IT. The position is centrally located on the management team at central administration, which is divided into three departments: administration, communications and facilities, and quality and development. As a business development manager, you will play a key role in developing and improving IT support for educational and administrative operations. You will work strategically and operationally to ensure a modern and sustainable IT environment, while providing expert support to leaders and developers. The role involves leading digitalization projects, strengthening systems management, and ensuring that operations comply with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to information security. You will work broadly and in close collaboration with operations and the city's IT unit to coordinate and develop processes and information management. Together with systems managers and systems specialists at the Digitalization and IT unit, you will work on developing and managing digital solutions. Your work includes coordinating requirements for procurements based on the department's operations, conducting risk and consequence assessments of the department's systems, and supporting systems owners. In your work, you will translate operations' needs into feasible digitalization projects in consultation with management, staff, suppliers, consultants, and the IT department. You will participate in networks both within and outside the municipality. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who has: Education in, for example, digitalization, IT, or computer science, or other education the employer deems relevant Several years of experience in business development related to digitalization Experience with systems management Experience leading or participating in project steering committees Very good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written We consider it a merit if you have: Experience in public sector operations Knowledge of the Education Act, curricula, and relevant regulations Experience working on development projects in public sector operations Experience working with e-services or RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or similar technology It is an advantage if you have an understanding of digitalization related to educational operations and schools.
