About the role In your role as a business development manager in crime prevention, you work systematically and results-oriented to develop crime prevention activities. In close collaboration with the operations and based on visions and goals, you lead and coordinate improvement initiatives. You investigate and analyze current states, target images and processes, and describe needs and formulate requirements for IT support, working methods and procedures. Depending on operational needs, you may also work as a Product Owner (PO) or Epic Owner (EO). As PO, you represent the operational needs in the team and are responsible for prioritizing and managing the backlog so that the team creates maximum value. You work closely with product management, development teams and stakeholders to ensure that operational goals, user needs and technical solutions align throughout the development work. As EO, you are responsible for driving strategic development initiatives from idea to implementation. You ensure that the target image, effects and benefits are clear, coordinate affected stakeholders and follow up on results and value realization. To succeed in this role, you need to understand how operations, architecture and technology work together to meet society's needs. You have the ability to listen to and understand operational needs and serve as a link between operations and IT in development matters. We are looking for someone with broad expertise and experience who is flexible and can switch between different tasks based on organizational needs. You will be part of the Development Unit at the Crime Prevention Department. The unit drives business development from need to achieved impact and supports the department in development matters, continuous improvements and internal efficiency. The unit also contributes to digital development based on operational and user needs. We are located in several places and the placement location for this position is Gothenburg. The unit has approximately 25 employees. About you To do a good job and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be receptive, think innovatively and take responsibility. You should also have: relevant post-secondary education current, relevant and several years of work experience in business development within a government agency or larger organization current, relevant and several years of work experience in operationally leading and coordinating complex development assignments with multiple stakeholders, with and/or without IT relevant experience in workshop facilitation relevant experience in business process modeling including processes relevant experience in needs gathering and requirements analysis It is desirable that you have relevant experience in agile business development and the SAFe framework, for example as a Product Owner (PO) or Epic Owner (EO), as well as relevant experience in business development within crime prevention and/or tax investigation. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a probationary period of six months. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security check with criminal record verification under the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment.
