The Preschool Division in Järva is responsible for just over 50 municipal preschools and five open preschools. Within the Development Unit, a unit manager and nine staff members work to support development and change initiatives and to follow up on the preschool's municipal and national mission. As a Business Development Manager, you'll be part of the Development Unit and help develop, follow up on, and evaluate the preschool's education and quality work. Your role As a Business Development Manager with a focus on language, your task is to support the Preschool Division and help the organization achieve its goals and drive development work that creates better conditions for children. You work closely with colleagues, the unit manager, and the principals and assistant principals of the preschools. You work proactively to identify development opportunities based on analyses and develop well-founded materials. The role includes a particular responsibility for contributing to language development work in Järva preschools and strengthening conditions for children's language and communication. You lead or participate in working groups, projects, and investigations, and you monitor developments and keep up to date with current research in the preschool field. An important part of the work is to create and develop relationships and collaborate with different divisions within the administration and Stockholm City. With your operational knowledge of preschools, you contribute to prioritized development work and support division management. You also follow up on and evaluate initiatives aimed at developing the preschool's education and work together with investigators on responding to referrals and letters. Your competence and experience We're looking for someone who: • Has a pedagogical university education, preferably preschool teacher training, and relevant further education • Has documented in-depth expertise in children's language development and multilingualism • Has at least two years of experience with development and quality work in preschools at the municipal level • Has experience in process leadership • Has experience driving and leading others in development and improvement work • Expresses yourself well in speech and writing Meriting factors • Has experience collaborating with universities, colleges, or research projects • Has strong analytical skills and experience with systematic quality work • Has experience working in a politically governed organization As a person, you're self-directed, work in a structured manner, and actively contribute to organizational development. Other information The administration office is located in Tensta, and work primarily takes place on-site with some possibility for remote work.
