The Social Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's operations within the disability sector, social psychiatry, and health and medical services for these target groups. The administration has approximately 1,000 employees and 45 managers. The administration is on a transformation journey toward the social services of the future. A changed external environment and new needs require us to adapt and develop how we work. Through new and creative solutions, we build an operation that functions well, is sustainable over time, and meets both today's and tomorrow's needs. The goal is to strengthen the quality of what we do for those we exist to serve. About the Operation The Quality and Development function is one of four support functions within the Social Care Administration. We are now expanding the work team, which currently consists of twelve employees. Together, we support the operations and drive the development of the administration's activities. Here you will work with varied and developmental issues alongside knowledgeable and engaged colleagues. Assignments range from strategic and long-term development work to concrete changes that need to be implemented in the operation. We work independently in our assignments, but closely with each other in our day-to-day work. We share knowledge, test ideas together, and use each other's expertise when questions require different perspectives. The position is based at Bryggaregatan 15 in central Borås, with good bus and train connections via Resecentrum. There is also the possibility to work remotely during parts of your working time. Responsibilities As a Business Development Manager, you work to improve and strengthen the quality of our processes and methods of work. You work closely with the operations and base your work on their needs. The role involves switching between a strategic perspective and more concrete support in the operation. This could include leading major development and change initiatives, driving projects, or supporting the implementation of new working methods, tools, and systems. You carry out some assignments independently and others together with colleagues from across the organization. The work is integrated with other development and operational processes within SoL, LSS, and HSL. In this position, you will primarily, but not exclusively, work with the implementation of the new Social Services Act as well as matters concerning process management, operational planning, and monitoring of systematic quality work. Your responsibilities will include: monitoring the external environment and implementing changes in legislation and other relevant requirements in the operation leading and participating in projects and working groups related to the transition to the new Social Services Act managing processes and developing systematic quality work, and participating in process teams supporting managers in analyzing and monitoring operations and results working with deviations, social documentation, and patient and quality reporting compiling and analyzing materials, for example results from user surveys representing the administration in relevant networks and collaboration formats educating and supporting various professional groups within the scope of your assignments Together with colleagues with different expertise, you have good opportunities for support, knowledge exchange, joint learning, and reflection. Qualifications We are looking for someone with higher education in social work, behavioral science, social pedagogy, disability science, or other education that we consider equivalent. It is advantageous if you have experience in business development, preferably within LSS and social services, as well as systematic quality work. We prefer that you have experience in public administration and working operationally with issues concerning people with disabilities. To succeed in this assignment, you need to be comfortable working both strategically and operationally and be able to switch between different perspectives based on the assignment's needs. You have the ability to structure and analyze information, identify what is essential, and communicate it in a clear and pedagogical manner. You take initiative and drive your work forward while being able to plan, prioritize, and make your own judgments. You can handle situations where new and more urgent needs arise alongside planned tasks. You will lead trainings and other forms of knowledge support, which means you adapt your communication to the target audience and context. Because you work on behalf of and together with others, you need to be responsive and have a good ability to understand the operations' needs. You have a coaching and supportive approach and can guide managers and employees through change. You can create engagement and participation and bring people along in development and change initiatives. Furthermore, you express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
