Erikshjälpen is a children's rights organization with a non-profit second-hand business. Together, we share a common vision: a changed world where children's dreams come to life. We work to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children's rights in 16 countries. In Sweden, children's rights work is conducted primarily through Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad, in close collaboration with our second-hand stores. In total, we operate around 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand stores in Sweden and Norway. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand's missions is to generate as much surplus as possible for the children's rights organization Erikshjälpen. 1 position(s). Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad works to create new opportunities together with children and young people – both for the individual and for the area. In our work in Sweden, Erikshjälpen operates the Framtidsverkstad concept in several locations where we work together with children, young people, and parents to create conditions for personal development, social mobilization, and participation in community development. By strengthening children's and young people's own dreams, motivation, and abilities, we create faith in the future and conditions for long-term and positive change. Our work is conducted in close collaboration with municipal services, the business community, and other parts of civil society. We welcome your application! Description As an operations coordinator, you will be part of our team within Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad in Halmstad. You will lead the operational activities together with one other operations coordinator and in close collaboration with a labor market coordinator. In this role, you and your colleagues will meet children, young people, and parents as you jointly manage the day-to-day operations. Framtidsverkstad in Halmstad started in spring 2026 and is still under development. The goal is to build an operation similar to other Framtidsverkstäder around Sweden, but adapted to the needs and context of Halmstad. The operation consists of recurring activities such as discussion groups, study support, labor market initiatives, language cafés, parental support, family activities, holiday activities, trips, and leadership training. We regularly visit schools in the area, arrange various community events, and spontaneous activities based on requests from residents. Examples of work tasks: Create meaningful activities for children, young people, parents, and the community by planning, implementing, and evaluating activities based on our target groups and their needs. Ensure quality and results by following up, evaluating, and reporting the operation's results, impacts, and costs. Contribute to operational development together with the unit manager. Build relationships and engagement by creating trusting relationships with children, young people, adults, and professionals. Collaborate with schools, municipalities, civil society, and the business community on social initiatives. Lead and support daily work by supervising activity leaders, volunteers, and interns. Work during late afternoons/evenings occurs regularly, and work on weekends occurs several times per school term. Travel with overnight stays occurs to some extent. Qualifications You are: a relationship builder with great commitment to children and young people and their opportunities to develop, particularly in areas facing socioeconomic challenges. You have an easy time building trust and enabling participation. social, communicative, cooperative, and feel comfortable working in a multicultural context. self-motivated, responsible, and enjoy working in a goal-oriented and structured manner to develop operations and drive processes forward.
