Welcome to us The Elderly Care Department is responsible for public authority exercise, decisions and monitoring of care and social services provided by our own units and private care providers. The service forms include home care in regular housing and in service housing, day activities, special housing with 24-hour care as well as preventive activities. Your role As an Operations Controller within the Elderly Care Department, you contribute to quality and operations development within the department's three main areas: home care, care and social service housing as well as public authority exercise. You are part of the department's management group and work broadly with support to the department manager, area managers and unit managers. Your main tasks are to: conduct operations monitoring and analyze results to strengthen quality and goal achievement, subcontract agreement monitoring, coordinate the department's RSA work, work closely with the department manager and provide support in prioritization and planning ahead, prepare and develop overarching documents such as operations plans, reports, service reports and statements, conduct environmental monitoring and contribute with analyses that support long-term strategic planning, provide support to area managers in their work with operations and quality development, represent the district in operations monitoring and follow up on lex Sarah cases and other quality controls, participate in larger projects and development work within the department and district. The role is independent and involves great responsibility. You lead your own processes, build relationships within and outside the department and work broadly to create coherence and context in elderly care development. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: academic education in an area relevant to the position, several years of experience in quality work and operations monitoring, subcontract agreement monitoring, very good communicative ability in Swedish, both orally and in writing, experience working independently, driving your own processes and creating structure. It is advantageous if you have: experience in elderly care, experience working in a politically governed organization, experience writing service reports and conducting investigations. With initiative and good self-leadership you take responsibility for driving your own processes forward and thrive in a role where you often work independently. You are self-driven, confident in taking responsibility and ensuring that work maintains high quality even when you lead tasks on your own. You have a holistic perspective and ability to see connections between different parts of elderly care operations, which means you contribute to coherent and long-term development work. With your good communication skills you express yourself clearly, create understanding and build trust in collaboration with managers, colleagues and service providers.
