As Operations Controller, you will be an important part of developing, monitoring, and ensuring quality within elderly care in Haninge Municipality. Welcome to submit your application! Your assignment Your responsibilities as Operations Controller include reporting on goals and creating and monitoring the Elderly Services Committee's internal control plan. As Operations Controller, you have a coordinating role that supports the administration's work with planning, monitoring, analysis, and reporting. The role works close to operations and provides consultative support to increase confidence and understanding of the municipality's governance processes. Your tasks include, among others: Provide strategic support to administration management and coordinate and support the Elderly Services Administration's area managers and unit managers in their work with operational planning, monitoring, and reporting Together with the Finance Controller, analyze and monitor operations, budget and outcomes, population forecasts, and future elderly care needs Serve as editor and report to the Elderly Services Committee in connection with interim reports, half-year reports, and annual reports, and analyze and prepare materials for the administration's governance documents Responsible for developing the Elderly Services Committee's internal control plan and monitoring, reporting results, and conducting certain reviews Identify improvement areas and streamline processes to increase the administration's results Responsible for managing, developing, and administering the administration's digital support system for quality management (SOSFS) Environmental monitoring and participation in networks relevant to the role, both internally and externally In the role as Operations Controller, you will also contribute to the staff's other assignments. This includes, for example, conducting various investigations, preparing matters, and writing official statements within the staff's area of responsibility, and contributing to the work with quality management systems and cross-administrative processes and projects. What we are looking for in you We are seeking someone with university education in political science, public administration, economics, or another academic degree that the employer deems equivalent, and at least two years of experience with similar work, preferably within municipal operations or another politically-governed organization. You have experience working with planning, monitoring, analysis, both locally at unit level and at an overarching level, and with reporting to management. You also have experience working with internal control and managing and administering digital system support for systematic quality work. Experience with Hypergene and 2c8 is a merit. We are seeking someone with good pedagogical skills and a professional approach. You have a good ability to express yourself both in writing and verbally and are skilled at conveying your analyses in an easy-to-understand way. You are analytical, have good knowledge of office software, and generally high system knowledge. As a person, you are communicative and receptive, and you have an easy way of building good and trusting relationships. You organize, drive, and follow up on your own work systematically.
