Norlandia Care is seeking an experienced and committed Operations Manager for Sätraåsens äldreboende in Gävle. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing operations with a focus on quality, finances, work environment, and staff management.
What does the Operations Manager role at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?
As Operations Manager, you will be part of the region's management team and report to the Regional Manager. You have full responsibility for results, personnel, and work environment, as well as responsibility for ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, agreements, and Norlandia's governance documents.

Your assignment:
• Operatively lead and develop operations in line with established goals
• Ensure high quality, safe and secure care, and satisfied residents and relatives
• Manage budget, monitoring, and results
• Lead and develop staff through present, inspiring, and clear leadership
• Ensure systematic quality, work environment, and fire safety work
• Collaborate with client representatives, authorities, politicians, and trade union representatives
• Represent Norlandia internally and externally
About Sätraåsens äldreboende
The elderly care home is functional and family-friendly. The facility has 72 modern and fresh apartments. The grounds and facilities have spaces for various activities, such as gardening, spa, library, greenhouse, solarium, and boules court. In addition to care staff and healthcare personnel, the organization includes an Operations Manager, an Assistant Operations Manager, and a Coordinator.

• University or college education in healthcare and social care, such as nursing, social work, or equivalent education approved by IVO
• Several years of management experience in elderly care
• Documented experience with budget responsibility, quality work, and staff management
• Are confident in working according to laws, agreements, and quality management systems
• Are a clear, communicative, and values-driven leader

Probationary period: 6 months
We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews take place on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
