Haninge Municipality's in-house home care services consist of three geographic service areas, where each area is organized into two units that share premises and work closely together. Our operations also include a night and alarm unit, which gives us a cohesive organization that provides security 24/7. We are in an exciting development phase with a strong focus on quality, close-to-practice leadership, and digital advancement. The service currently uses digital locks and digital procurement systems. Moving forward, we're also developing daytime digital home care services and introducing AI-based documentation support as part of our effort to simplify work processes, free up time for care, and create a modern home care service. Home Care is Silviahem certified—one of the country's most respected dementia training programs. We're looking for someone who wants to be close to operations, lead a home care service in transformation, where new work methods and digital solutions are an important part of development. Here you'll have the opportunity to make an impact and work with close, coaching-style leadership that creates clarity and support in daily work. Your assignment The role of operations manager generally involves being a role model and seeing the bigger picture—that we work for our citizens—being loyal to the service's goals and political decisions made, as well as following the employer's guidelines, values, and policies. The management role also means having the courage to challenge and drive change by encouraging new ideas, creativity, and continuous improvement. As operations manager, you lead your unit and have personnel responsibility for approximately 30 employees. You'll have support from a coordinator, close collaboration with your management colleagues, and you report to the area manager. In this role, you will, among other things: lead the service toward set goals and create conditions for employee professional development be responsible for quality, work environment, finances, and staffing ensure efficient service planning that generates a good work environment and quality in service delivery drive development and implement new work methods and digital solutions in practice cooperate with internal support functions and external partners actively contribute to the management team for regular housing. The position also includes being on-call manager at a number of times per year. What we're looking for in you We're looking for someone who is confident in your leadership and has experience as a manager in home care services. You have a strong ability to structure, follow up, and drive development. We want you to have: relevant higher education of at least 120 higher education credits or vocational higher education of at least 400 vocational higher education credits, plus at least two years of full-time supervisory experience in elderly care or care for people with disabilities. Alternatively: higher education in social law of at least 7.5 credits and labor law of at least 7.5 credits, plus at least five years of continuous experience as a manager with personnel, financial, and work environment responsibility in similar operations. In addition, we want you to have: documented management experience in home care with personnel, financial, and work environment responsibility good understanding of service planning and staffing strong knowledge of laws and regulations governing the field good digital competence and interest in welfare technology very strong ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is meritorious if you have experience in all aspects of home care, change management, and systematic quality and improvement work, as well as a driver's license category B.
