FMN Göteborg is seeking an operations developer and advisor on a part-time basis
Drug problems don't only affect the person using drugs. Parents, siblings, partners and other loved ones are also affected – and many don't know where to turn.
The Parents' Association Against Drugs, FMN Göteborg, has worked with these issues for 42 years.
Now we're looking for you to meet and support people, but also help us reach significantly more.
This is therefore not a traditional advisory role. We're seeking a person who enjoys creating contacts, opening doors and making things happen.
Your assignment
You will be a central figure in FMN Göteborg's operations.
Part of the work involves providing advice and support to relatives and others affected by drug use. You meet people in personal conversations and via telephone and help them find ways forward.
But an equally important part is ensuring that more people know FMN exists.
You will therefore actively seek contact with, for example:
· schools and other educational institutions,
· municipalities and social services,
· Västra Götalandsregionen and healthcare and health activities,
· associations and parent groups,
· organizations and networks that reach different groups in society.
You schedule meetings, tell people about FMN's work, build relationships and develop collaborations. So you need to be equally comfortable making a first contact with a school or municipality as sitting in a confidential conversation with a relative.
Who are we looking for?
We believe you have experience in social work or other activities where you have worked closely with people.
You may, for example, have worked in social services, addiction services, care and welfare, school, treatment services or the non-profit sector. Relevant education in, for example, social work, behavioral science, healthcare or welfare is a merit, but we will also place great emphasis on relevant experience and personal suitability.
You need to be a person who takes initiative. It's not enough to wait for people to find us – an important part of your assignment will be to find them and the services that reach them.
Therefore, we're looking for someone who:
· is secure and empathetic in meeting people in vulnerable situations,
· is self-driven and enjoys taking own initiatives,
· finds it easy to create contact and build trust,
· dares to make the first call and book the first meeting,
· can represent an organization and speak to groups,
· works structurally and takes responsibility for following up on what you begin,
· expresses yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Additional language skills are a merit.
Experience with drug and addiction issues, relative support, outreach work or collaboration with schools, municipalities and regions is also a merit.

This is a position for someone who appreciates freedom with responsibility. You'll have great opportunities to influence how FMN Göteborg works, who we collaborate with and how we reach new groups.
At the same time, this freedom comes with significant personal responsibility. You need to be able to plan your workday, create structure and drive the work forward on your own together with other staff and the board.
Scope: Part-time, 50 %
Location: Göteborg
Start date: By agreement
Working hours: Mainly daytime. Some evening hours may occur in connection with meetings and activities.
