As the business now expands with a new office in Gothenburg, the organization is further strengthened, and we are now seeking a ventilation designer with several years of experience for the engineering team in Växjö. At CRETEC, designers, project managers, and production work closely together. This means that you don't just hand over a drawing—you get to follow your solutions forward, discuss them with those who will build them, and be involved when technology, economy, and feasibility must be weighed together. We are looking for someone who has become confident in the fundamentals of VE design and can drive your own work forward, but who still wants to develop, expand your competence, and gradually take on greater responsibility. Your Responsibilities As a ventilation designer at CRETEC, you will work on designing ventilation systems in both smaller and larger construction projects. You will enter an environment where design and execution are closely connected, and where dialogue between different engineering disciplines is a natural part of the work. You typically work on several projects in parallel and are responsible for your own deliverables. Depending on the project, you may be involved from early phases and system solutions through completed construction documents and follow-up during implementation. An important difference from a traditional consulting role is proximity to production. When a solution needs to be adjusted, project managers and colleagues are nearby, while you receive quick feedback from those working on installations in the field. This gives you the opportunity to develop both your technical expertise and your understanding of what actually works to build—and what it costs. In this role, you will, among other things: * design and size ventilation systems * create drawings, models, and technical documents in CAD/BIM environments * work with technical solutions from system design to construction documents * make technical assessments considering function, energy, economy, and feasibility * coordinate installations with other disciplines * participate in project and technical meetings * collaborate closely with project managers, installers, clients, and other designers * manage changes and adjustments during projects * contribute ideas and experience to the development of CRETEC's working methods and technical solutions. Your Profile We are primarily looking for someone who already works with ventilation design and has accumulated several years of practical experience. You don't need to be the most senior person in the room. However, we want you to have progressed far enough that you understand the design process, can take responsibility for your tasks, and independently drive your work forward. When you encounter something you don't know, we don't expect you to know everything—but that you find out, discuss with colleagues, and find a way forward. We would like to see that you have: * several years of experience in ventilation design * experience with MagiCAD and Revit, AutoCAD, or equivalent * good understanding of sizing and structure of ventilation systems * experience in preparing technical documents and drawing materials * understanding of installation coordination and different project phases * good Swedish in speech and writing. If you have experience with ventilation contracting, installation coordination, or close to production, that is particularly interesting. Background from the consulting side is also very relevant, especially if you are now curious about getting closer to execution.
