Job Responsibilities: Provides building authority activities for the permit authorization of water management structures within the territory of the municipality with extended jurisdiction; conducts inspections for compliance with building regulations; issues permits, modifications, or cancellations of permits for water resource management; issues unified environmental statements in the field of water management; approves operational, emergency, and sewerage regulations; ensures water rights supervision of water rights authorities; cooperates in resolving incidents involving surface and groundwater; manages flood conditions
Salary Grade: 11
Expected Start Date: June 2026 or by agreement
Basic Requirements per Act No. 312/2002 Coll.: Czech Republic citizen (or foreign national with permanent residence in the Czech Republic); minimum age 18 years; legal capacity; clean criminal record
Other Requirements: higher education or at least complete secondary education with final examination in construction, water management, chemistry, agriculture, or other technical fields, or legal sciences; active knowledge of PC work - MS Office, Windows, Word, Excel; driver's license category B
Advantages: experience in public administration; knowledge of software GINIS, VITA, DSŘ; special professional competency examination in construction or water management; degree in water management, construction and technical fields, chemical-technological fields focused on water technology, law and legal science; experience in water management or construction; good communication skills; diligence, responsibility
In the written application, the applicant shall provide: name, surname, title; date and place of birth; nationality; permanent residence address; ID number or residence permit number for foreign nationals; date and signature of the applicant
and further attach these documents: curriculum vitae containing information about previous employment and professional knowledge and skills; criminal record extract no older than 3 months; for foreign nationals, a document certifying good character issued by the home state, or if such a document is not issued, good character shall be demonstrated by a sworn statement; certified copy of the document on highest education achieved; if education was obtained abroad, the applicant shall provide nostrification (recognition of education in the Czech Republic); clearance certificate pursuant to Act No. 451/1991 Coll., as amended (does not apply to persons born after 1.12.1971); sworn statement pursuant to Act No. 451/1991 Coll., as amended (does not apply to persons born after 1.12.1971)
