Procurement Manager in Engineering Company (m/f)

Get the opportunity to lead a team of buyers in a growing engineering company. An interesting combination of people management, supplier negotiations, and collaboration on international projects awaits you. We are looking for an experienced procurement manager who will take responsibility for supplier development and the strategic direction of procurement. Job Responsibilities: • leading, developing, and motivating the buying team • managing operational and strategic procurement and developing the supplier base • sourcing new suppliers and implementing cost savings in purchasing processes • communication with suppliers (domestic and international) • participation in projects of the German parent company • collaboration with technology and production departments Required Knowledge and Competencies: • at least 3 years of experience in this or a similar position • sales and negotiation skills • positive attitude toward engineering and technology • ability to work with product technical drawings • managerial skills to work with a team • fluent knowledge of English or German; experience in international communication is a plus • advanced MS Office (Excel) skills • interest in actively seeking new strategic purchasing opportunities • high degree of independence Note: CV also in English or German What We Offer: • friendly team of colleagues, reliable and fair management • workplace in Proboštov, with home office option • stable employment in a growing company – new production hall in 2026 and further production expansion • collaboration with production and international teams • 5 weeks of vacation • lunch allowance up to 2,800 Kč per month paid directly into salary • pension contribution 600 Kč per month • summer and winter bonuses based on company performance • salary from 60,000 Kč – depending on experience and background
