invites applications for the position of Senior Specialist in the Project Management Division of the Development and International Cooperation Department (position code 2422 03), work location Talejas iela 1, Rīga Requirements for candidates: at least first-cycle higher professional education (in project management, management science, economics, finance, law, public administration, or another field corresponding to the job duties); state language proficiency at the advanced level, 1st degree (C1); English language knowledge at least at B2 level, necessary for working with project documentation and collaboration partners; ability to work with office software (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel); work experience in project coordination or management; understanding of project planning, implementation, budget management, and project documentation preparation; ability to navigate regulatory acts and apply their requirements in work; very good planning, work organization, and communication skills; ability to independently set priorities, take initiative, and achieve defined results; accuracy, sense of responsibility, and ability to meet established deadlines; high professional ethics standards and ability to responsibly handle restricted access information; electronic signature. Job duties: develop and coordinate project applications, as well as coordinate the preparation of documentation necessary for project initiation; organize contract preparation and signing; plan, organize, and supervise the implementation of project activities in accordance with grant and partnership agreement, financial instrument, and regulatory requirements; plan project budgets and expenditures, monitor their use and compliance with funding conditions; prepare and submit project documentation, reports, and accounts on project implementation progress; coordinate planning of goods and services procurement needed in projects and prepare necessary reports; ensure preparation of current project information for publication on the VUGD website and organize project publicity activities; prepare opinions on regulatory act drafts and other documents on project management issues, and within the scope of competence ensure implementation of decisions made by VUGD management in project management matters.
