The Prison Administration is a state administration institution under the Ministry of Justice that implements state policy in the field of detention as a security measure and the execution of imprisonment as a criminal penalty. Vacancy: Senior Specialist at the Liepāja Prison Branch of the Latvia Prison Hospital, 2422 03 Position Type: Full-time Salary: from 1350 EUR to 1910 EUR Work Location: Prison Administration Liepāja Prison – Alsungas iela 29, Liepāja, LV-3414 Contact Information: 63422305, [email protected] Submit CV and motivation letter to: [email protected]; [email protected] Requirements for Candidates: At least first-level professional higher education in healthcare or legal sciences; Latvian language proficiency at C1 level; Desirable professional experience in healthcare or administrative field for at least one year; Health status and psychological characteristics meeting the requirements set by the Cabinet of Ministers (Cabinet Regulation No. 219 of March 10, 2009 "Procedure for Conducting Mandatory Health Examination"); Excellent computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel) and ability to work with office equipment; Ability to plan and organize work and prioritize assigned tasks; Ability to analyze large volumes of information and draw conclusions; Ability to work both as a team member and independently; High sense of responsibility, accuracy, analytical thinking, ability to work under high-intensity conditions. Responsibilities: Ensure registration and record-keeping of internal and external documents in the document management system; Ensure control of documentation circulation and maintenance; Ensure medical and accounting documentation record-keeping complies with requirements set in normative acts; Within the scope of competence, ensure processing of requests, complaints, and suggestions from natural and legal persons, including patients, and prepare responses within the timeframes specified in normative acts; Compile information from the department and prepare reports and information on healthcare of prisoners; Within the department's competence, develop and update internal normative acts, methodological materials, and other documentation, and provide recommendations on the need for updates.
