Nature Conservation Agency announces a competition for Senior Personnel Specialist position in the Personnel and Administration Department (1 position for an indefinite period, full-time) Requirements for candidates: • higher academic or second-level professional higher education in personnel management, management sciences, or legal sciences, or higher academic or second-level professional higher education supplemented with training in personnel matters; • work experience in personnel management acquired over the last five years (minimum two years); • work experience in public administration (minimum two years); • experience working with the resource management system HORIZON and the state information system "Assessment Electronic Forms Information System" (NEVIS); • experience in information compilation and analysis; • knowledge of the application of the Labor Law and State Civil Service Law and related regulatory acts regulating personnel management matters; • good communication and interpersonal skills; • excellent knowledge of Latvian language; • ability to work with standard office software; • good work organization skills, ability to work independently; • Category B driver's license and driving skills. Main job responsibilities: • prepare, format, and manage personnel documentation; • ensure accuracy of personnel data and timely updates in personnel management systems RVS HORIZON and NEVIS; • advise and provide daily support to officials and employees on personnel matters; • participate in personnel selection processes; • ensure performance appraisal processes for officials and employees; • participate in the development and implementation of human resources policy; • ensure health insurance processes for Agency officials and employees; • ensure the implementation of occupational safety measures as well as their monitoring and control in cooperation with the occupational safety outsourcing service provider.
