announces a competition for a vacant position of
Senior Inspector (Investigator) of the Second Division, Second Department
for an indefinite period
Requirements for candidates:
academic or second-level professional higher education in finance, economics, or legal sciences;
experience in pre-trial investigation;
ability to work independently, make decisions, ability to work with high work intensity and high sense of responsibility;
ability to explain and persuade about one's opinion, regular knowledge enhancement in areas relevant to the field;
good written language skills, ability to express oneself clearly, substantively, and persuasively in written texts, ability to work with computers;
understanding of the field of corruption prevention and combating;
knowledge of one foreign language;
work experience in prevention and/or combating economically-related criminal offenses will be considered an advantage;
compliance with the requirements of Article 5, paragraph 5 of the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau Law and the criteria established in the Law "On State Secrets" for obtaining a special permit to access state secrets (Article 9, paragraph 2);
Main job duties:
initiate criminal proceedings as soon as a legal ground is established;
conduct investigative activities in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Law to determine whether a criminal offense has occurred, who committed it, whether a person should bear criminal liability for it, identify such persons, and obtain evidence that provides grounds for charging a person with criminal liability;
take all measures provided by law to ensure compensation for damages;
perform other investigative authority tasks established in the Criminal Procedure Law;
lead and/or participate in the work of investigation groups in the pre-trial process;
consider submissions (complaints) and prepare responses;
conduct departmental inspections.
