Job Purpose: Within the ESF+ project "Creation of a Professional Support System for Teachers" No. 4.2.2.3/1/24/I/001, provide unified and strategically monitored support at the state level in general education, oversee the implementation process of regulatory acts, develop cooperation with methodological centers of general education institutions, industry experts and associations, and ensure methodological support measures and consultations to general education teachers. Main Job Responsibilities: Provide unified and strategically monitored professional support (in the respective subject area and aspect of education work) in general and vocational education at the state level, utilizing existing professional support networks and coordinating cooperation among stakeholders, and strengthening the implementation of professional support practices in municipalities and cooperation with vocational education institutions in the implementation of general education curriculum; Implement methodological support measures and consultations for education quality development for municipal subject area/subject coordinators and teachers within subject areas and subjects; Plan and organize methodological support measures and consultations for education quality development for municipal methodological work coordinators and teachers within subject areas and subjects; Conduct analysis of general education content development trends in the European Union and worldwide, analyze and compile information in various general education content areas; Evaluate sample subject curricula and plan their updating in preschool, general basic education, and general secondary education; Evaluate or adapt general education methodological support materials, including piloting, reviewing, publishing and maintenance, in accordance with preschool education guidelines and state basic education and general secondary education standards, and organize professional development according to identified needs; Coordinate and oversee the content of developed materials among subject areas and education levels and in teacher professional development; Represent the project in curriculum development matters in state and municipal institutions, as well as in relations with natural and legal persons, if related to project implementation issues; Consult representatives of society in your area of responsibility. Requirements for Candidates: Master's degree or higher education in the field/pedagogy; At least 3 years of work experience in pedagogical work in an educational institution; At least 3 years of work experience in curriculum and methodological material development and creation; Work experience in management; Knowledge and skills in coordinating work groups, curriculum and methodological material development and creation; Collaboration and effective communication skills; Ability to argue and substantiate your opinion; Excellent knowledge of Latvian; Ability to work with computers, use computer programs and other information technologies. The position is classified at Level III of Family 39.1 (salary group 10).
