in the Switzerland Program Division of the Education Content Department
(fixed-term position until November 30, 2029)

Key responsibilities:
Prepare methodological support materials and guidelines for businesses and educators on implementing industry-based vocational qualification acquisition and assessment models in Latvia.
In collaboration with expert working groups, develop procedures for implementing industry-based education, documenting learning outcomes, and create necessary support materials and document templates for businesses.
Analyze international experience and recommend solutions to improve project results effectiveness and sustainability.
Evaluate materials and processes developed within the project framework, providing recommendations for improvement.
Timely identify and analyze potential risks in work execution and propose constructive solutions to prevent them.
Requirements for candidates:
Academic or second-level professional higher education in pedagogy or education sciences (minimum level 7 Latvian Language Proficiency).
At least 3 years of work experience in developing, organizing, and managing professional development for educators, as well as in communication with cooperation partners.
Experience in developing education content and methodological materials in vocational education.
Knowledge of vocational education content and its implementation regulatory framework, and the course of the educational process in educational institutions.
Knowledge and skills in process planning, analysis, and description, as well as in developing structured procedures, guidelines, and methodological documents and monitoring their implementation.
Excellent skills in working with MS Office applications, online collaboration tools, and document management systems. Ability to strategically use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to increase efficiency of daily work processes and content development.
Excellent Latvian language skills; English – minimum B2 level.
