About the Position
As a care instructor with us at Riksgymnasiet on Rudbeck and Rudbecksgymnasiet, you will be responsible for teaching courses within healthcare and care services education. You will plan, implement, and develop instruction that engages, motivates, and challenges students. The work requires a high degree of flexibility in how instruction is delivered and adaptation of various study formats to students' different needs and circumstances. Parts of the instruction will be conducted in sign language. Around you is a dedicated team where you work together to develop the operation and learning—with the goal of educating Sweden's best nursing assistants!

support students' social development and education

About the Workplace
Riksgymnasiet for deaf and hard of hearing students is located at Rudbecksgymnasiet, Tullängsgymnasiet, and Virginska gymnasiet. This position is located at Riksgymnasiet Rudbeck and Rudbecksgymnasiet. Riksgymnasiet is an operation with approximately 100 employees and about 250 students from across Sweden. Our students are deaf, hard of hearing, or have language disorders and need instruction in Swedish sign language or spoken Swedish with hearing technology.
School Riksgymnasiet is part of the Secondary Education and Labor Market Administration. Here 1400 employees work in many different roles to provide youth and adults in Örebro the same opportunities for education and self-sufficiency. Qualifications
As a care instructor with us, it is important that you are confident and stable as a person. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a receptive and flexible manner. You have knowledge of children's development and learning as well as the ability to adapt instruction based on the group and individual students' needs and circumstances. We see that you adapt easily to changed circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You take responsibility for your tasks and structure your work approach. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with children, guardians, and other staff, as well as document in writing what the operation requires.

Requirements:
vocational instructor training and/or teaching certification with authorization to teach healthcare and care services subjects at secondary level or qualified professional experience in relevant areas
Meriting qualifications:
very good knowledge of sign language
experience working with students in need of special support
experience teaching at secondary school
experience with mentorship and contact with guardians
