Care Education Teacher - Vocational Higher School
About the Operation
ABF Stockholm runs vocational higher education programs that meet labor market needs and contribute to competency supply in the welfare sector. Our programs are characterized by high quality, close collaboration with working life, and a strong focus on students' development and employability.
We are now seeking an engaged and driven care education teacher to teach two courses within care and health services, IBIC/ICF and dementia care.
In this role, you will be responsible for course implementation, quality assurance, and development while contributing pedagogical expertise and industry knowledge.
Job Responsibilities
As a care education teacher, you are responsible for:
Planning and delivering instruction on two care and health services programs.
Teaching topics including: IBIC/ICF, Dementia Diseases and Dementia Care, person-centered care, documentation and quality work, and care and health services from an ethical perspective.
Supporting and coaching students throughout their education.
Assessing and monitoring students' knowledge development.
Managing examinations.
Qualifications
Requirements
Education in care and health services, teacher training, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Documented experience from care and health services operations.
Experience teaching care-related subjects.
Very good knowledge of IBIC and ICF as well as dementia care.
Very strong administrative skills.
Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools.
Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
Experience working independently and in close collaboration with others.
Meritorious
Experience working in vocational higher education.
Experience with distance teaching.
Experience collaborating with employers in care and health services.
Pedagogical education or teacher qualification.

Employment Form and Start Date
