Rehabilitation Medicine in Sandviken accepts patients from throughout Region Gävleborg and offers highly specialized services. The operations focus on patients with injuries and diseases of the nervous system, particularly brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and patients with chronic pain issues. The operations consist of a care unit with twelve care beds, two day care slots, and an outpatient clinic where work is conducted in multidisciplinary teams, such as pain rehabilitation teams, brain rehabilitation teams, and spinal cord injury teams. Approximately 70 employees from various professions work here. The operations are characterized by a team-based approach and are based on a behavioral medicine model. We are now seeking a Unit Manager for the physician group who wants to be part of developing the operations and contribute to a workplace with high expertise and a good work environment. 1 position(s). DUTIES As Unit Manager for the physician group, you will have a central role in leading, planning, and developing the operations. You are responsible for personnel, work environment, and budget, as well as daily operations. You are also responsible for the unit's long-term development and actively work to provide your employees with opportunities for professional development and a good work environment. You will have close collaboration with the operations' other managers and will be part of the operational area's management group. Since this role is new, you will have the opportunity to shape and develop the assignment based on the operations' needs. You will have an active and driving role in building up the physician group, where you and your colleagues develop working methods that create engagement and conditions for an attractive workplace. The position is a combined role that comprises 50% management duties and 50% clinical work as a physician. As Unit Manager, you will • plan, lead, develop, and follow up on operations, together with its employees • create conditions for an attractive workplace through dialogue and participation • have medical advisory responsibility (MLA) • lead physician meetings • be responsible for staffing, recruitment, orientation, and supervision.
