About the Job Are you the one who makes it possible for people to stay in their own homes? To create good working conditions and strengthen the work environment, we are now expanding our teams. We are therefore looking for several care assistants for home care services within Gothenburg City. Right now we have openings at the facilities Askim, Fiskebäck/Långedrag, Hagen/Grimmered, Östra Frölunda and Wieselgrensplatsen. Home Care Askim is looking for care assistants with cycling experience. The unit is based at Askims Torg 5. Home Care Fiskebäck/Långedrag and Hagen/Grimmered are looking for care assistants with cycling experience. The unit is based at Redegatan 9B. Home Care Östra Frölunda is looking for a care assistant with cycling experience. The unit is based at Valthornsgatan 35. Home Care Wieselgrensplatsen is looking for a care assistant with cycling experience and a driver's license. The unit is based at Wieselgrensplatsen 29. The goal is for the clients to have meaningful days where you provide good care and social support. The work involves day and evening shifts, including weekend work. We value collaboration and work based on national core values. Working in home care means you support and assist the client in their own home based on approved services. You travel to the individual's home by e-bike or car. Your work includes practical assistance with personal hygiene and care, support with meals, activities, laundry, cleaning and more. You also perform health and medical care tasks under instruction and delegation from licensed personnel. All social documentation is done digitally. If you have not previously used the systems used within Gothenburg City, you will receive training in these. As a care assistant in home care, you get varied work where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life. About You Qualifications: Since we document and communicate in Swedish, you need to speak and write Swedish Cycling experience and are comfortable using an e-bike in your work Driver's license (category B) and driving experience required (applies only to Wieselgrensplatsen) Meritorious but not required: Trained care assistant or nursing assistant Work experience in care and support Computer skills, experience in preparing care plans Driver's license (category B) and driving experience meritorious (applies to Fiskebäck/Långedrag and Hagen/Grimmered) You are respectful, open and positive in all your interactions and have the client's best interests in focus. The work day can sometimes turn out differently than planned, so it is important that you can quickly reprioritize tasks, keep calm and have the ability to balance different demands. To ensure high quality in our care and support, we would like to see that if you do not have care training, you have the necessary prerequisites so you can further educate yourself as a care assistant or nursing assistant through adult education. We think long-term and want you as an employee to grow and develop, so we would like to see that you are motivated to eventually pursue further studies in care and support.
