The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for People with Certain Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Care Act. Lantmannavägen is a residential facility with special services for young people according to LSS. With us, you meet every individual with respect and professionalism. We collaborate across professional boundaries – both within our own department, with other parts of the municipality and with external partners. DUTIES Working as a care assistant with us means being an important part of people's everyday lives. You get to use your compassion and commitment to make a difference every day. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to creating security, continuity and good care for the young people in the residential facility. You work closely with the young people and contribute to creating a sense of security, structure and predictability. A calm and stable approach is crucial, as is the ability to be attentive and adapt to each young person's individual needs. The goal is to strengthen the young people's independence, quality of life and participation in society based on their needs. The work takes place during daytime, evenings and weekends, and on-call overnight shifts occur. The role includes, among other things: - Supporting the individual in daily life based on the implementation plan - Motivating and creating structure around activities, health and social interaction - Collaborating with family members, colleagues, schools and other partners - Documenting services in digital systems according to current procedures - Working from a low-affective approach and with the individual's needs in focus - Personal care You work closely with colleagues and other professionals, and documenting services according to current guidelines is part of the role. The position requires good communication skills, flexibility and a professional approach – always with the young people's needs at the center. QUALIFICATIONS To thrive in the role, you need to be confident in yourself, have a respectful approach and want to contribute to a good work environment. You need to be thorough, service-oriented and have the ability to adapt to different people's needs. The work requires good collaboration skills, but also the ability to take responsibility and work independently. It is important that you are attentive, observant to changes and can handle both routine situations and more unexpected events in everyday life. You need to be able to document according to current procedures. We also see that you have: - Care assistant training - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing - B-class driver's license Experience from support services and/or social psychiatry is a merit.
