Your Assignment
In this position, you will work days, evenings, weekends, and split shifts. You need to be flexible and prepared for work that may span the entire Welfare sector during certain periods, not just within the Humlan home care area.
We have close collaboration with all home care teams in Söderhamns Municipality.
As a care assistant, your role is to meet individuals' basic and specific care and nursing needs. The role involves safeguarding and respecting each person's right to privacy, self-determination, participation, and individualized support to enable users to live as independently as possible. Work tasks may include assisting with toilet visits, showering, dressing, light meal preparation, cleaning, and accompaniment. You may also perform medical tasks as delegated by a nurse. By providing care and social contact, you become an important part of the user's daily life.
Workplace Description
Home Care Services Humlan is a cheerful team of nursing assistants and care assistants operating from our office in Söderhamn. We consist of two work teams organized geographically. You should have a sense of the equal value of all people regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
Your Competence
We seek someone trained as a care assistant with at least 800 approved upper secondary school credits in selected courses from the care and welfare program. Previous experience in care and welfare work is an advantage. Since computers and phones are used as work tools, it is necessary that you have computer and phone experience and that you have proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is required for this position.
