Would you like to work with land access issues that shape and improve the infrastructure of the future? We are now recruiting land negotiators with positions in Luleå and Skellefteå. As a land negotiator, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to and support socially important road and railway projects of varying complexity and scope! Duties We are looking for land negotiators who will work to ensure that Trafikverket gains access to the land needed for our measures and projects. As a land negotiator, you will work with the entire chain of land access issues. This may involve negotiating compensation and encroachments, managing acquisitions and planning, drafting property rights agreements, or handling damage settlements and disputes. You will actively participate in planning and design work and represent Trafikverket in surveying procedures as well as in contacts with authorities, municipalities, and individual property owners. A large and important part of the work consists of dialogue and negotiation, where you meet people in different situations and need to build trust and find solutions. Through our operations and in collaboration with others, we, as a leading client, can also influence the industry and the development of sustainable solutions and smart infrastructure. It is a varied role where you work both independently and together with your colleagues, and you are involved in the entire chain from planning, design work, construction phase to handover of the completed facility. Qualifications Who are you? To thrive and succeed as a land negotiator, you should be confident in yourself and your competence. You have good communication skills, which means you convey messages in a straightforward manner, are receptive, and adapt your communication to your audience, and you have a natural ability to build trusting relationships. The role involves working both independently and in groups, and it is therefore important that you are proactive and independently see what needs to be done, as well as have good collaborative skills and a structured work approach. We are looking for you who have: - a university or college degree of at least 180 credits (120 points) in surveying/civil engineering, forestry focus (for example, forestry engineer/forest manager) or law with a focus on property law. Alternatively, you have other relevant academic education combined with experience that we overall assess as equivalent - several years of current and relevant work experience with property law matters - very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing - a driver's license for a passenger car It is meritorious if you have: - worked with land access - experience in negotiation, contract management, and contract interpretation within the property field - a forestry background - knowledge of valuation matters Other Information Web-based tests are used as part of the selection process in this recruitment.
