Do you want to work on a department where you can use all your skills, develop in your nursing role, and make a real difference for our elderly patients? Then GAVA might be the right place for you!
At GAVA you will meet elderly patients with varying and often complex care needs. This makes the work both educational, developmental, and varied. For us, the patient is always at the center and we work together to create safe, secure, and person-centered care.
"The best thing about working at GAVA is the variety and that you are constantly learning new things. We meet patients with different needs and that means no two days are the same. What matters most is the team – we help each other, support one another, and there's room for both laughter and seriousness. Here you feel like you're an important part of the whole and that what you do really matters." - Employee at GAVA

Job Description
As a nurse at GAVA, you have a central role in patient care. You work with a holistic perspective where medical, nursing, and social needs all need to be addressed.
The job tasks are varied and include care, medication management, medical technical procedures, assessments, and follow-ups. You also have contact with family members and collaborate with doctors, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals involved in the patient's care.
The goal is for the patient to feel safe during their hospital stay and receive the right conditions for a safe and good continuation after discharge.
At GAVA, no two days are the same. Sometimes the pace is high, sometimes there is time for those important conversations. We share both challenges and successes – and we do it together. With us you will have the opportunity to make a difference, develop as a nurse, and become part of a team where we support each other, learn from each other, and have fun along the way.
