Welcome to Riksäpplets gymnasium and Haninge's adapted upper secondary school, where student development is in focus. Riksäpplets gymnasium is a beautiful upper secondary school located by Rudans outdoor recreation area. Haninge's adapted upper secondary school is situated close to Eskilsparken and Torvalla sports center. The schools offer Haninge's introductory program, language introduction, individualized alternative, vocational introduction, and the adapted upper secondary school.
Your assignment
As a facilities custodian at Riksäpplets gymnasium and Haninge's adapted upper secondary school, you work in a structured, independent, and proactive manner where you perform work—both planned and urgent—with quality and professionalism. You handle and provide feedback on incoming work assignments in a case management system. Through daily rounds, you ensure that facilities and equipment function as they should. You perform ongoing maintenance work, minor repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
You have strong collaboration skills and communicate about which work assignments need to be completed. You support the school's IT technician with installations such as projectors and smartboards, cable routing, and setup and maintenance of computer carts. You collaborate with staff, facilities services, and external contacts. You receive deliveries and distribute packages to relevant staff.
Additional examples of work assignments: managing keys and access cards, changing light bulbs, repairing blinds, emptying recycled paper bins, changing locks, maintaining the coffee machine, replacing batteries in clocks, etc.
Heavier work tasks may include furniture moving, lifting, and work from ladders.
What we're looking for in you
You have completed upper secondary education.
You can use relevant tools and equipment to perform custodian work tasks.
You have knowledge of ergonomics.
You have practical technical and digital competence.
You have good computer skills.
You can communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
You hold a B-class driver's license.
It is an advantage to have practical training in, for example, electrical work or facilities management, and/or relevant professional experience.
It is an advantage to have relevant ergonomic training, as lifting and moving of, for example, furniture, copy paper, and recycled paper occur.
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
