At Önnestadsgymnasiet, we offer five specialized tracks and a total of 9 vocational pathways within our agricultural program. Here we study and teach agriculture in practice through the specializations in forestry, animal care, nature tourism, horse management, and farming. The tone between staff and students is personal, classes are small, and both facilities and educational grounds are of high quality.
Since 2010, Hushållningssällskapet Skåne has been the principal of Önnestadsgymnasiet, providing a stable and secure foundation for our operations.
We have just over 50 employees working together for our 230 students. Önnestadsgymnasiet is located 8 km northwest of Kristianstad.
About the position
As a facilities manager, you play an important role in the daily maintenance and development of the school and boarding facility's properties and outdoor environments. You work closely with students, colleagues, and external partners, contributing to creating a safe and well-functioning environment for the entire operation.
Your responsibilities include routine facilities management and maintenance, minor repairs and renovations, painting and upkeep of premises, repair of furniture, doors, locks, and other equipment, as well as waste management and recycling. You also oversee basic grounds and outdoor area maintenance, as well as monitoring and basic troubleshooting of systems such as alarms, heating, and ventilation.
The work includes both planned tasks and matters that need to be resolved on short notice. You become an important part of the operation and contribute practical service to the school's various activities.

Since the work takes place within the school's operations, it is important that you enjoy working in an environment with young people and can be a trusted and clear adult presence.
We are looking for you to have:
• Experience in facilities management, janitorial work, construction, carpentry, painting, plumbing, grounds keeping, or other relevant practical work.
• Good practical skills and the ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the tasks involved in the operation.
• Good collaboration skills and a service-oriented approach.
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish.
• Class B driver's license.
It is advantageous if you have:
• Technical understanding of building systems and their various components.
• Experience with systematic fire safety work.
• Experience with alarm, ventilation, or heating systems.
• Experience from a school, boarding facility, or other setting where many people gather.
• Relevant education in facilities management, construction, or technical fields.
