Kalmarsunds gymnasieförbund is a municipal federation responsible for providing and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4,000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.
Lars Kaggskolan is one of the upper secondary schools in Kalmarsunds gymnasieförbund. The school has approximately 1,300 students and approximately 180 employees. JOB DUTIES
We are seeking a School Custodian for Lars Kaggskolan and Jenny Nyströmskolan. We are looking for someone who wants to be a role model and contribute to sustainable societal development. You are open and welcoming in your interactions with others, have the courage to think in new ways, and the drive to turn thoughts into action. You will work together with other custodians in the federation. The distribution of the position is 60% at Lars Kaggskolan and 40% at Jenny Nyströmskolan but may change depending on needs.
As a school custodian, you will maintain the school's facilities, equipment, schoolyard, and alarm systems, etc. You will be a link in the management of student and teacher computers, care for technical equipment, and perform minor repairs. You have close contact with students and should be interested in working with young people. Collaboration with the school's teachers and other staff is also an important part of a school custodian's work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has upper secondary education or equivalent. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty where needed, are interested in technology, and enjoy working with various types of technical equipment.
You are service-oriented with good collaboration skills as well as being proactive, stress-resilient, and organized. You understand the importance of professional, flexible, and service-conscious interactions. You are motivated by providing good service.
In addition to your education, you have experience working as a custodian, facilities manager, or similar role. You have strong Swedish language skills and can easily understand written instructions, manuals, etc., as well as express yourself clearly in both speech and writing. Good computer skills and digital competence as well as a class B driver's license are required.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Type of employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Subject to agreement.
Work hours: Daytime.
Before an offer of employment is made, a satisfactory extract from the police criminal record for work in schools must be provided.
To strengthen Kalmarsunds gymnasieförbund's ability to conduct operations under heightened readiness, all permanent employees will be registered for civil defense placement.
The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be allocated to redundant personnel or that necessary political decisions are made.
