If you are not already a trained security guard, Securitas will cover the cost of your training before employment. As a mobile security guard, your main task is to deliver security to our customers – primarily at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Usually you manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility. As a stationary security guard, your main task is to deliver security to one of our customers by being attentive and making sure everything is in order. You often work at the entrance of a larger company and check those who pass in and out, but you can also perform patrols and camera monitoring. Work tasks vary from customer to customer. You work independently and under your own responsibility. These positions suit you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a security guard at our Katrineholm office, you become part of a dedicated team. Work tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard you can work both indoors and outdoors, night or day. Shift lengths vary, but are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Since we operate year-round, it is common to work every other weekend. We are security. We are Securitas. Requirements Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Category B driver's license Meritorious if you are a trained security guard have worked with similar tasks before have civil or military security guard training As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periodically high work tempo. You are interested in technology and find it easy to understand instructions. We see that you as an applicant are an independent person who trusts your own ability, quickly understands problems, and solves them in a creative way.
