About the Role
Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained security guard, Securitas will cover the cost of your training prior to employment.
As a patrol security guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to our customers - mainly at industrial facilities, offices and workshops - by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft and damage. Usually you will manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility.
This position suits you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a security guard at our Jönköping office, you will become part of a tight-knit team. The tasks are highly varied and as a security guard you can work both indoors and outdoors, nights or days. Shift lengths vary, but are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Since our operations run all year round, it is common to work every other weekend.

Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school
Good English language skills
Category B driver's license

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you must have approved grades from the first year of upper secondary school in Swedish and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment at an authorized security company in accordance with the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance under the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be required. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective regulations, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from yourself, public sources or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.
Salary and employment terms are based on a collective agreement between the employers' organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
