Our LSS activities are designed for youth within personkrets 1. Many may also have experiences with relationships that haven't worked, anxiety, or trauma. This can make it difficult to trust adults, regulate emotions, and handle situations that become challenging. At night, worry and anxiety can take up more space. When emotions become too difficult, it can also lead to situations that quickly escalate into outward aggression or threatening behavior. That's why we're looking for someone who can both prevent and manage difficult situations in a calm and reassuring way. About the position When the rest of society is sleeping, you're one of the adults who stays behind. You ensure that the young people get the support and care they need and help create a safe and calm night. The work varies and can include everything from preparing a night snack to preventing anxiety and helping manage difficult emotions. You need to be able to read what's happening, notice when something is about to change, and adapt your approach accordingly. You also work based on the implementation plan and help create conditions for a life that is as independent and meaningful as possible. You work independently and need to feel confident making decisions and acting when necessary. At the same time, you're an important part of the team. Documentation and clear handovers to colleagues are a natural part of the work. We're looking for someone with: Education as a support pedagogue, social pedagogue, assistant nurse with LSS specialization, or other equivalent education. At least one year of experience with similar work with children and young people. Knowledge and/or experience with low-arousal approaches and threat and violence management. Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. B-category driving license We consider it meritorious if you have: Education or experience within NPF and the target group. Knowledge of AAC, TAKK, or other clarifying pedagogy. Basic knowledge of BBIC/IBIC. Experience with documentation and journal systems. Who are we looking for? Someone who is fearless and has their heart in the right place.
