Your role as a Road and Infrastructure Worker As a skilled worker, you will work close to production and contribute to ensuring our operations and maintenance assignments function in everyday life – year-round. The work includes operations and maintenance assignments within road infrastructure and associated ancillary facilities, as well as relevant earthwork and construction work. It is practical and varied work performed outdoors year-round and includes, among other things: Operations and maintenance measures in road environments and surrounding ancillary facilities Earthwork and construction work of small to medium scope Signage and layout, installation and adjustment of traffic control devices Ongoing road inspections with corresponding measures based on identified deficiencies Minor paving work, mowing, vegetation clearing and winter road maintenance in the form of snow removal and anti-icing treatment You work both independently and together with colleagues, where collaboration and responsibility-taking are crucial for success. Standby duty is a natural part of the assignment, especially during the winter period. This means you need to be prepared to respond when conditions change and help keep roads safe and passable around the clock. This is a full-time position based in Eskilstuna, and assignments will geographically be performed in Eskilstuna and surrounding areas. Working hours are primarily Monday–Friday 07:00–16:00, but work is production-driven and involves work at inconvenient times and standby duty. At Svevia, we apply individual salary setting.
